To assist our customers fully understand the agreement they are entering into when a quotation is accepted, we have set out below our standard Terms and Conditions. PROVISION OF SERVICES

1. N.T. Ward Ltd will provide a written quotation when required/requested. The quotation will include the cost of installing or repairing central heating equipment or gas appliances as discussed with the customer and/or specified in the quotation. N.T. Ward will acknowledge that any job undertaken by the client has been accepted in writing by email or text or verbally by the customer on site location.

2. The time estimated for an installation is the best estimate of the likely timescale for completion of the job. However, N.T. Ward Ltd cannot accept liability for any additional costs, losses or expenses incurred by the customer should the job run over the time estimated as a result of delays, amendments and alterations or unforeseen circumstances, as every estimate is carried out on a visual only basis. Should this event occur, and the job takes longer than anticipated, we will discuss with and keep the customer informed at all times.

PAYMENT

1. For services over £3000 we will require a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the work to be undertaken, which is payable on acceptance of the quotation. The remaining balance is payable on completion of the work. For all services under £3000, a deposit of £1000 will be required. 

2. Payments on completion can be made by BACS and within 7 days or if by Cheque, payable to N.T. Ward Ltd and handed to the engineer on the day of completion.

3. N.T. Ward Ltd reserves the right to withdraw from site if the contract payment schedule is not adhered to. 

4. N.T. Ward Ltd will retain ownership of any materials until full payment is received. Any materials can be recoverable by N.T. Ward Ltd in the event of non-payment. 

The customer agrees to allow access to site for this purpose.

GUARANTEE

1. Guarantees for all work carried out by N.T. Ward Ltd is explained in the quotation or verbally to the customer.

2. After installation, N.T. Ward Ltd cannot guarantee any services, parts and equipment if:

a. They suffer misuse, treated negligently or if the company’s work is repaired, modified or tampered with by someone else.

b. Any materials or controls used are supplied by the customer. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. If the customer cancels an order once placed, the following terms apply:

a. If orders are cancelled for any reason within 14 days prior to commencement of services, the customer will not be refunded any monies paid in relation to those services. This cancellation period allows us to compensate for loss of work and income.

Note 1: N.T. Ward Ltd and the customer has the right to ask to alter the start date within the 14-day period of the original date agreed, should either party incur unforeseen circumstance such as illness, prior work commitments or injury. Both parties are free to discuss an alternative start date.

Note 2: N.T. Ward Ltd has the right to withdraw from any agreement at any time. Should Home Boilers be unable to carry out any scheduled work due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be given to the customer.

DATA PROTECTION 

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) the personal data we collect from you, such as name, address, email address and telephone numbers will be held on our secure database. It will not be shared with any third parties, except for the sole purpose of issuing annual reminders for maintenance purposes, such as an annual service. An annual service is recommended to retain the manufacturer’s warranty and for the general gas safety. We will never use your data for marketing purposes, unless you have specifically provided consent for us to do so.

Image Rights – all image rights of N.T. Ward Ltd and its employees remain the property of N.T. Ward Ltd and cannot be shared with any third parties or used for publication.

TERMS OF USE

These Terms and Conditions and all contracts awarded between N.T. Ward Ltd and the Customer shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Law.

Acceptance of our goods, services or quotation is automatic acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
